Eldar Official Release Information (Someone Got it Early)


Of course its in French, but check this out. Its very cool, and shows the latest releases.

Here is the Games Workshop newsletter what appears to be a full day early. Apparently if you live in France you are got this today, as it was received by newsletter subscribers earlier this morning there.

    I got this mail this morning too, and the rumour on the french forum was it's a mistake.
    As nothing's ready on GW website, and as other country didn't get it, it smells like a GW fail :)

    The limited edition looks nice but then again, I'd rather spend the money on the regular + digital version.
    They really should do a paper + digital deal.

    Just wondering natfka(or anyone else) if you had any info on spirit seers and whether they are a hq choice or still like a squad upgrade like a squad leader or is it a completly new hq option?

      As far as i heard about it, the spiritseers is an HQ making wraithguard/blades troops.
      Salt should be used as usual.

      the white dwarf has 5 wraithblades listed as elites, and a warlock under HQ (along with farseer and avatar), only 3 troops so no 2foc

      but the warlock spends the game with the wraithblades

      From BOLS :
      Wraithguard /Wraithblades (elite 160 points 5 models)
      - Strong profile with S5 T 6 as 3+
      - Wraithblades got 2 close combat weapons with AP3 and +1 S or can get a 4+ invul with a single AP2 weapon
      - Runeseer can mark targets, every wraith unit can reroll missed to hit rolls of 1 against marked targets.
      - If you select a runeseer as HQ, they become troops

    Technically pre-orders start Friday night on the west coast, whenever midnight strikes in Nottingham.

      midnight always strikes at 12.00pm/00.00am as far as im aware ;)

      and we are maybe 9 hours ahead of LA.. so mid afternoon friday your pre-orders will go live

      Spiritseer Model seems to be.

      I was "unofficially" told by the local GW manager that if i wanted it.. i be on site at midnight to place order..

      maybe 10k released for worldwide is rumoured

      Thats what i thought. Midnight it is. Lucky on a friday im normally up at 11.30 anyway, so hopefully no prob.

      The Spiritseer model isn't, there's no "while stocks last" stamp on it, or any indication in the model description that it is.
      Psychic cards are limited.
      Also, the Iyanden supplment isn't on the GW site, anyone know what's with that?

    Ordered the Codex, box of Wraithguard & 2 sets of Phychic cards today. Pretty sure ill be going back for the Wraithknight, another box of Wraithguard & a Farseer once my bank recovers a little. Pretty good release for my army structure. Little bit sad about no jetbikes though, I was looking forward to adding them to my army but won't until they get new models.

      I wouldn't hold your breath for new models, the fact that they repackaged them would imply they have no intention of replacing them. Not until the next Codex at least.
